A reach truck is a narrow aisle truck designed for racked pallet storage within a warehouse. It uses outriggers in front and telescoping forks with a hydraulic scissors-type mechanism to pick up loads and retract them over the outriggers. Reach trucks are designed for racking areas only and do not work for loading trucks or quickly moving loads over distances.
The Pivot-Steet truck, also known as Bendi, Flexi, Swing Mast and Turret trucks are designed to work in very narrow aisles less than 6’. They are most commonly used in warehouses with narrow aisles and high-racking systems. These trucks look like standard forklifts but include an extra function that can swing the mast to a 90-degree angle to either side by way of the truck being articulated.
Telescopic Handlers are most commonly used in the construction and agriculture industries. This machine resembles a forklift but includes a telescopic boom that can extend forward and upwards. Attachments such as buckets, pallet forks, muck grabs and lift tables can be attached to the boom enabling loads to be moved to and from areas.
Pallet and stacker trucks are typically found in warehouses and are used for loading goods vehicles via dock levelling loading bays. They are available in several styles and can be pedestrian-operated, rider-operated with a stand-on platform or in some cases both where the platform can be folded up to allow pedestrian access.
CombiLift truck training can only take place at your premises. This multi-directional steer forklift is equipped with a four-wheel steering system which enables it to travel sideways with a long load. This allows the machinery to function in less space whilst still being able to handle larger and longer loads.
Moffett, or vehicle-mounted lift trucks are typically mounted on the rear of the vehicle or its platform, they can then be disconnected and used to offload the vehicle. They are commonly used on rough ground and areas where accessibility is a challenge, such as construction sites. This training includes operation and provides training on how to safely disconnect from the truck and re-attach it for road transport. Moffett training can only take place at your premises.
The VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) truck is ideal for maximising storage space and high-level order picking in narrow aisles. The VNA can be used with wire or rail guidance and can lift to 14.8m, carry loads of up to 1.5 tonnes and work in narrow aisles down to 1460mm. VNA training can only take place at your premises.
